I have always been asking myself, how we would have seen the world if the
Americans had not won the second World War, for instance? In that scenario,
would we see them as the ultimate heroes of our world or the keepers of
peace? Maybe our heroes would have been the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany,
instead.
If the Americans hadn’t supported Israel 50 years ago, would we see them
today as the ones being attacked by Palestine? Maybe, if the Americans were
on the Palestinian side, things would have changed.
Sometimes when I watch the news about the conflict in that part of the world,
I’m wondering, who are the good ones and who are the evil ones because
there are arguments which support both sides.
Let’s take for example, the arguments which are favouring Israel. Their religion
is not as misogynistic as is the one from Palestine. Also, their citizens are acting
more well-educated when they come to Europe, I mean…I don’t know if you’ve
heard about any violent attacks committed by the Jews in the big cities such as
Paris or London.
Moreover, there had always been a conflict between muslims and Christians.
Our ancestors, giving their lives, only to keep them, so why should we support
them in this chaos? It does make no sense…
Well, as I’ve said previously, there are pros and cons on both sides. The
Palestinian citizens hadn’t had it easy in the last decades. They had been
despondent, but now they are more than ever, running, hiding, crying for their
relatives taken captive by the Jews, and to make things even worse, Egypt,
their closest ally won’t even let them in or out of their own country.
Hence, the question remains, is it there any pure good or evil in this world, or
are we only being manipulated into believing that something is good and
something is bad?
The so-called “evil” people are suffering too, even though they are not showing
it to the world. Suffering for being left out, frustrated for being ignored, or that
the others can enjoy life and see the world in all its beauty. But those who cry
the most are the victims of their wickedness, wish for power, narcissism and
anger.
A person can choose to be kind, friendly, “good” if it wants to. Actually, it’s
everyone’s choice of being good or bad, but it usually depends on the nature
and the possibilities of each person, some are attracted to do good in this
world and see a pleasure in doing so and some tend to do wicked things.
I would like to end with the statement that, I have no answer to the question:
is it there any good or evil in this world? Both might exist, but seen differently
by each person.
