Okay, okay... I know what you might think. Everyone’s had an existential crisis at least once during their life, whether it was during the rebellious teenagerhood or the tumultuous childhood. But you might be wondering, amidst this entire tantrum you’re throwing: what exactly do I mean to do in life?

Now, it might sound very easy and equally tricky to answer that question. Although our primary purpose as human beings is indeed finding the true, raw, actual meaning of life. Scientists have searched and searched and searched for centuries, like it was just another quantum physics problem that must be solved.
Uhm, honestly? No guys, you were wrong all this time. The meaning of life isn’t something to be generalised for everyone, regardless of their life’s path or what the future might hold ahead of them, like it’s a mathematics formula or a psychology concept.
Nevertheless, this presumption might have as well been wrong from the very beginning, for we’re already boldly assuming that everyone on this planet Earth wants to know the meaning of their life. Some of us sleep better at night with the thought that everything that is ought to happen is unpredictable.
Back to our business… what was I saying? Oh, right. If you, dear reader, have stumbled upon this article
unintentionally or with purpose, I hope that until its end, I will at least manage to clarify your confusion. I would be deeply grateful if you would take all the advice that I ought to share with you and make good use of it.
Particularly, we might seek a meaning of life in different things, for we differ through many aspects. It’s not a frightening thought, because for the majority of us, being driven by an instinct, that is the right thing to do, just because. That is not an answer ChatGPT or Pinterest could’ve given you, because the interhuman bond will forever overpower the digital connections.
It is terrifying to not know where to start from, I get it. It’s like receiving the task of building a washing
machine without a manual, staring at the situation dumb-founded like thunder just struck you. But it’s okay, most of the time it’s useful to not know, because out of these situations you gain experience, motivation and a little wisdom from the people surrounding you that might prove themselves to be helpful after all.
Not everything has a magical universal encyclopaedia in their back pocket with answers to all of life’s
questions. And maybe, maybe it’s better like that. The very thing that we’re obsessed to achieve, answers, might prove itself to not even be as urgent as it is to address other personal problems.
So, if you’ve reached these last few lines and you’re questioning how I still haven’t given the pre-masticated answer, then I apologise. My intention has been none other than to guide you towards your answer, making you follow your gut, heart and soul. And when you’ve answered that question yourself? Don’t be selfish and give me half the credit.
